What I collect, and why.

The short version

This site collects what you type into the enquiry form. I use it to reply to you. I don’t sell it or pass it on for marketing.

Who runs this site

Leadesigned is run by Phua, a solo web designer based in Malaysia. I decide how your details are used, and I’m the person to ask about them.

What the form collects

Your name, business name and email, plus anything optional you choose to add: your phone number, your website link, your Instagram or Facebook page, and any message you write. The form sends these to me by email so I can do your site check and reply. I use them because you asked me to get back to you, and for nothing else.

Who else handles it

Two companies process your details for me, only to run the site and deliver your message. Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps a backup copy of each enquiry. Resend delivers the enquiry to my inbox. Both are based in the United States, so your details leave the UK and the EU when you send the form.

The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. It looks at technical details of your browser and connection. It doesn’t use them for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so there’s no cookie banner to click through.

The concept pages

The concept pages in the Work section load their fonts from Google Fonts and their photos from Unsplash. When you open one, those two services see your IP address, as any website you visit does. The rest of this site loads nothing from outside.

How long I keep it

The backup copy of an enquiry is deleted automatically after 180 days. I keep enquiry emails while we’re talking or working together. If nothing comes of it, you can ask me to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or tell me to stop using it. Reach me at phuawaiwai021108imp@gmail.com, WhatsApp or @lead_designed, or reply to any email from me.

If you’re not happy with how I handle your details, you can also complain to your data protection regulator: the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
